I just made the switch to Storygraph and it was super easy, best done on a laptop/desktop though and not your phone. It’s also visually much more appealing than GR, they actually put love for books into it it seems. Thanks for your reading recommendations, looking forward to the next!
Thanks for this latest group of recommendations, Meg. So interesting and inviting and makes me want to read an essay collections which is underrepresented in my usual reads. Love your writing and unique point of view!
Thanks for this, Megin! I was so curious about Alphabetical Diaries, because I love Sheila Heti's playfulness and creativity with writing, but I also worried that it seemed gimmicky. Also, I read The Folded Clock by Heidi Julavits not too long ago and just loved it so much, and thought this project might pale in comparison. It's great to hear that it's interesting and engaging beyond the original concept!
Thank you for reading, Corrie! I always thought you would love The Folded Clock! Have you read her new book? I didn't like Alphabetical Diaries as well, you definitely have to be in the right mood for it, and prepared for a little confusion, but I read it almost like poetry. It definitely feels more like an art project than fiction.
